I think The Mister said it best when he announced earlier this evening that "April is a tease." Last Saturday we had a wonderful sunny day with temperatures in the mid-70s. Yesterday school was cancelled for both me and The Mister due to the havoc that a wind storm in its frigid, howling madness wreaked the night before.
Until the weather begins to favor the pleasant a little more consistently, we're holding off on any outdoor planting. But yesterday Little Tiger was itching to plant radishes, carrots and onions in her "Root Viewer" so we gathered up everything we needed and made it happen on the front steps. Grammy and grandpa ordered this contraption from Magic Cabin and the girls are able to plant three different root vegetables and watch them grow from seeds into food.
Understand that the Halloween themed attire on The Milk Belly Princess was all her doing. She's entered a phase where she insists on full creative control as far as her wardrobe is concerned. In fact, on the very day that these photos were snapped, she experimented with a new kind of accessorizing by coloring herself with what she described as "tattoos." Oh my, we are proud of ourselves, aren't we?
