I spent the first week of February getting ready for The Milk Belly Princess' third birthday party. Three! Oh my! During the nights when she was an infant and had to eat every three hours I NEVER would have believed that time would fly by so quickly. We've gone from here waaay to here
in the blink of an eye. What a happy little girl!
Per her request, the theme for her birthday party was "The Cow Jumped Over the Moon." The party was held at Art Time Studio and Molly and Laura did a fantastic job. In keeping with the theme, the ladies were happy to honor my request that all guests were outfitted with cow ears upon arrival. Here is a picture of one of our tiniest, sweetest little friends modeling hers: The girls listened to nursery rhymes, hugged The Birthday Girl
and painted to their heart's content.
When it was over, each little girl was sent home with one of these:
You might remember me hinting about the mice here. You can't really see the tags in each picture, but this is what they said:
"Hickory, dickory dock! I think you really rock!
Thanks for coming to play and share my special day.
Hickory, dickory dock!"
I thought about making little cows, but my initial attempts looked like the Dalmation mice that Ben Stiller's character raised in The Royal Tennenbaums.
The party was on Sunday which left us with the need for ANOTHER celebration on her real birthday. More about that tomorrow.
Hi Audra -- Thanks for your kind comment over at http://webloomhere.blogspot.com/ Hope you have fun dreaming up lots of little peg-folk for your girls!
