Ooh soo cool! Thanks for blogging about this!

Wicked jealous of the yardage! They do always have good stuff for making other stuff with. :) Glad you got a chance to experience it for yourself.

If you need oversized grey nylon knit, they have a forest (tree trunk diameter) of rolls of grey nylon knit. This is stretchy fabric. This could be great bulletin board covering, if you can stand the lack of color. Bring a van, or something that the seats fold down.
If you need 2" wide evergreen colored elastic, they have stacks and stacks of rolls. Each roll is the diameter of a dinner plate and are packed in boxes. Think beyond waistbands - think weaving!

looks like you scored big time! we went to a couple of harvests last year, but they were closer towards the end of the season so we didn't find a whole lot of fabric (which was what i was primarily looking for). but we did manage to find enough carpet samples big to build an area rug in our attic :).

thanks for stopping by! and laura is super awesome...i love being her neighbor :)

I would love to see pictures of the area rug. Family Fun just posted a tutorial for weaving area rugs out of recycled T shirts so recycled rugs are on my mind.
